Instagram Reel links (/reel/ or /reels/), video posts (/p/), and older IGTV video links (/tv/). Profile pages, Stories, and image-only posts are not video transcript sources.
Public videos only, within the displayed duration limit. Private, deleted, login-only, or restricted content may be unavailable.

No. Use a public Reel or video post that can be accessed without signing in to Instagram. Stories, private accounts, deleted posts, and restricted videos are not supported.
The tool checks accessible captions first. If captions are missing, supported audio transcription can be used when the service is configured and the public video has accessible speech. Private, restricted, silent, or inaccessible videos may still return no transcript.
You can copy the extracted transcript or download it as a plain TXT file. This tool does not currently export SRT or VTT subtitle files.
